Ladies, PLEASE tell me if this is strange to you.
I have blonde hair. The hair on my legs is very light. So, I don't shave the tops of my legs (like, my thighs). And whenever I wear shorts, I am always SOOO self consious of the hair on my legs! Should I start shaving them, just because it bothers me? I don't like it, but it is like really thick (i know that sounds gross), and whenever I try to shave it, it doesn't work! Should I get Nair or something to take it off, and then start shaving it?
HELP!!!
Should I shave it or no?

I mean after I make the stroke over the hair, it is still there! Like, my razor isn't strong enough to handle it or something! Weird!

I have the same problem. You have to soap up, and shave the same area two or three times. Then shave every day or every other day, and It won't take as long as the first time.

Well I suppose if its very thick, you may feel less self conscience about it if you removed the excess hair. You could try Nair or another type of depilatory product, waxing maybe. But depilatory preparations are chemicals so you may have to do a skin test, to make sure that you are not allergic or have a skin reaction to the product. If shaving is that hard, remember to use a new razor each time, as the blades get dull with repeated use.

I dont understand how you cant shave it. If people can shave their pubes, you should be able to shave your legs. If your leg hair is really as thick as you think it is, Nair wont work too well. Nair works best on small hair. If you leave Nair on longer to get bigger hairs you will chemically burn your skin and it will start to bleed. And that isnt fun. First try shaving it again, and if that doesnt work, get it waxed professionally, or buy a home wax kit. You might try that Nads stuff, I heard it works but never tried it myself.

I honestly think you should shave them, just because it is good hygiene for women, but also to the fact it bothers you. I use men razors for my armpits(since the hair is a little thicker) because men razors are generally sharper since they use then on their faces. but if you do, be very careful! they are extremely sharp! As for the Nair thing, It personally doesn't work for me. but that would also be an option; or waxing (but that's painful!!)
good luck!

Well what do you mean it doesn't work? I don't understand..is it still visible..like little black dots? IIf that's the case you may want to try waxing, there's a few products you can find in stores. I would try Nair last as it smells horrible and is just really messy, but you may or may not find it easier..so your choice.

God gave you the hair, live with it. You shave it, it will grow stronger.
My daughter is in the same situation. Leave it along!
