i recently had my period, which wasn't very long (usaually 4-5 days). and now 4 days later, i'm spotting again. my husband thinks maybe he accidently broke my "cherry" as to say, hence the blood spotting. which would make sense since this started right after he prenatrated deeper then usual. i'm also finding myself tired alot and craving different foods. whats wrong with me?

You recently had your period?
A home pregnancy test won't work if you didn't conceive a couple of weeks ago. It needs enough of the hormone to build up so you can get the positive result.

I think I'd ask your doc to test for anemia as well as a serum blood pregnancy test (more accurate, earlier). Lots of women have anemia during the child bearing years. It requires an added iron tablet in the morning usually.

Good Luck

I hope since you are married that your so-called "cherry" was broken a lot time ago. Cherry = hymen. Spotting can be a result of several things. Since your husband went further than usual you could be bleeding a little bit from it. A little bleeding is somewhat normal in instances as that. I would suggest a home pregnancy test though, just to be sure.

If the spotting continues, see your doctor. You can get pregnant at any time during your cycle and can even have periods if you are pregnant. My mom had 6 periods when she was pregnant with me. You can go to any pharmacy and get a pregnancy test, but your best bet is to see the doctor.

It's possible that you are pregnant. Try a home pregnancy test.
