my mom says that woman don't need to shave their legs often but i say that we do.
how often does a woman have to shave her legs or underarms?

Well of course women don't HAVE to shave. It's just a matter of personal preference.
I have sensitive skin so every time I shave my legs, they itch like crazy. (Even after I use lotion). With me, I shave if I'm going to wear a skirt or capris. If I shave too often, I'll scratch so much that my legs start to bleed.

It depends on the woman. I hardly have any hair on my legs at all. Some women have a lot I guess. If you wear pants more then skirts, then you shouldn't have to shave as often.

You don't HAVE to shave your legs at all. We only shave our legs because it is habit in this country (US). Many other countries don't have this same custom... women have hairy legs and they find our custom silly.
Also, once you are married, you'll probably shave your legs MUCH less frequently... you've got the man and other things are more important.
But I still shave mine at least once a week. As you get older, the hair will become thinner and thinner and you may not need to shave them at all. How great is THAT?

I shave my legs when the hair starts to come up, I have no hair on my underarms.

Every body's hair grows at a different rate of speed, so some can shave every couple of days, some can wait even longer. You just do what is comfortable for you and what you need.

it depends on how quick your hair grows. My legs need to be shaved every other day, but lately I've been using nairand that allows me to go 3 days.

Once a week for both. This will give it a chance not to keep growing so much and that you will constintly will have smoother legs and underarms if you do it once a week.

Do you think the prehistoric cave women shaved? It's not required to survive, and the extra hair may protect you from sunburn. However, many modern males don't like hairy women.
