Crack open an egg, remove the membrane that clings to the inside of the shell, and place it over the abscess. As it dries it will draw out the puss. Once it is "opened" from the puss being drawn out, cleanse it by pouring some hydrogen peroxide (which you can get at any drug store or super market) over it. Then keep the area as dray and clean as you can until it heals. One way to do this would be to get some sterile cotton balls and Listerine. Soak a cotton ball with the Listerine and hold in on the area for as long as you can stand it ... it will dry up in no time.

Carbuncles are caused by staph infection in the system and in the hair follicles of the skin. Take the herb NEEM, which can be found online in capsule form. Also get NEEM oil to apply to the site of the eruption. Keep your hands clean, your clothes clean and swab the area off with alcohol before applying the NEEM oil to the furuncles. They are contagious and you are spreading them. Other people can also get them from you. You could have gotten the staph infection that causes them from an animal, another person or even the ground if you sit on it in shorts.

Homeopathy doesn't work. Studies by the American Medical Association have confirmed this statement. For further information about homeopathy, see links below.

If your doctor isn't helping... find a new one. Just like any service, you have to shop around sometimes. Stay away from alternative modalities, though. They do nothing except waste your money.

You could try a sitz bath using Epsom Salts but I would go to a dermatologist immediately. Your doctor is not treated your case properly.

Make a compress of lavender oil and tea tree oil, put it on there over night and the redness will be gone. Put these compress's on till it is gone, this could take 4to 5 days but the pain should be gone overnight.

Soak them in hot/very warm water with Epsom Salts, if you cannot get the affected part directly into the salts, use cloth soaked in the mixture as a compress & repeat as they cool..
