No. Of course, answers to this question will be subjective (it's mostly opinion) I will try and break this down as objectively as possible...and I speak from a lot of experience.

M.A.C make up has a lot of great color - in their shadows, liners, lip sticks/glosses, bronzers, etc. However, this colorful aspect is their strongest point. I would not turn to M.A.C for products that I plan to use on my face (foundation, powder, blush). They aren't known for first class skin care. If you want a great going-out look or are seeking specific eye shadow shades, M.A.C is a great place to try - they have a wide selection, the eyeshadows are sold individually (so if you like a shade, you aren't forced to purchase a "complimentary" shade you dislike or already have) and they're not too expensive as far as "good" shadow goes - $12.50/pot.

Other brands invest a lot of money into research in development of products that will not irritate sensitive skin, acne prone skin and wear very well for long periods of time. These products also use ingredients that pack in a lot of benefit.

For instance, Bobbi Brown or Bare Escentuals mineral products provide very high quality products that will pamper your skin. I have very acne-prone skin and find that the Bare Minterals foundation doesn't aggrevate it (my dermatologist recommended it to me...). Also, Bobbi Brown products are wonderful around the eye area (creamy concealer and power for undereye issues). I also use Trish McEvoy concealer duo for zits.

Overall, I think the singularly most important thing when dealing with make up is experimentation and patience. If you try different products you'll learn what works best with your skin and budget. No single brand is best - it all has to do with your personal preferences!

I wouldnt say it is the best, i used to be a model and that what they use for photoshoots and Television & commercials....the reason being it provides full coverage so if you alreadly have great skin, no imperfections then there isnt a need for it....however on the flip side the makeup will cover your flaws reguardless of how bad., and it will not bleed, most of it is mostly sweat resistant, and you will look flawless for hours.....so that choice is up to you!!!!! so if you need a little extra coverage, will be in veiw of a camera that day, or want to look amazing all day, then go for it, but with all makeup , the secret is in how you apply it!!!

No way! There's probably no best entire line. It depends on what you want but also the specific item.

MAC has a great range of eye, lip and cheek colors (LOVE their mechanical brow pencils). But so does NARS. NARS is famous for a cheek color called Orgasm, which I think is a lip color too.

However, Kevyn Aucoin makes better foundations/concealers. The skin tone is more natural IMO. I'm also using a brand called Minerals Will Work 4 You. I got it on Ebay, so it's probably some mom and pop company but the foundation colors works great on me, about the best I've found.

Dermablend is also the granddaddy of concealers that really cover well.

People rave about DiorShow mascara by Dior (of course), but I don't like it that much.

MAC is by far the best overall line. Other lines do have certain products that are better than some of MAC's, but nothing of MAC's is crappy or poor quality. If I was forced to stay with only one line for the rest of my life, this would be it!!

I prefer Mary Kay. It is a little expensive, but the quality for the money is great. There are representatives all around the country, I'm sure there are some where you live. But, with anyone, it's how you think it looks on you what counts. Experiement with all different kinds, but most of all, have fun! :)

Subjective. But M.A.C. is a very good company.

Arbonne is a company to look into. Beautiful skincare and makeup and you can use it with an ultra-clear conscience.
