Because the characters are drawn and not real people, you don't have to deal with bodily "imperfections," so to speak (or, conversely, you could have as many imperfections as you want). You could have your fantasy girl/guy doing whatever you want them to do (granted, this is more for the hentai creator than the watcher, but I still think it applies). Also, hentai characters have no limits or inhibitions; even the most hardcore porn star has some standards. Basically, with hentai, there's more sexual freedom.
And if you ask me, ALL porn is fake, not just hentai. And the reasons I listed above don't make it any less horrifying; these are just some of the justifications I've heard some hentai connoisseurs use.

It has to do with the people's personality. I ran into a guy when i was in Afghanistan and he was obsessed with this hentai... The reason he gave me for liking this stuff was because he was scared to buy real porn at a store and this he could buy at the place where japanese cartoons are sold... I have asked a couple of people about i and a couple have said that it has to do alot with the way the sex scenes are and the possibilities of the things that can be done in a cartoon that cant be done in a real ponographic movie... Istill don't understand it because it's cartoon... that all it is... weird weird... But then again the people who usually like this Sh!t are usually the one who can't get a real date and are in love with video game females..

Same reason anyone watches anything. I'm not a porn watcher myself, but anything we watch in film and TV (Assuming its not a documentary) is fake. It doesnt matter if its animated or not.
As for why some people get off on it, some people find Blond Hair attractive. Its a matter of personal sexual taste.

Amusement only cause if you were dumb enough to actually thing any human couls actually withstand some of the things or even get turned on by the stuff they do to women in Hentai you really need help and leave the sheep alone.

For one thing animated porn can do much more interesting things than regular porn actors can... ei. bigger *****, bigger boobs, S&M can be much more extreme, the list goes on and on. Also if one partner is the jealous type anime is good for there is nothing to be compared. Best wishes

It is awfully amusing. Everything is greatly exagerrated so maybe people who watch it like the extra noise and the extremely odd scenarios. It's like porn with a plot, a very strange incomprehensible plot...
