I am Scotch, Irish, English, Blackfoot, Commanche, and *****. And that is just the little bit of Ancestry I know about. My kids can add German and Cherokee to that mix. Actually, I call myself Caucasion, because my skin is white and all my closest relatives have white skin. But really, I'm just a happy Heinz 57 American mutt.

Geez, I feel hard done by. I, and my family, are Canadian for four hundred years past. I'm a proudly unhyphenated Canadian. No divided loyalties here. Bear in mind that you can be German, or Irish, or Mexican or any other nationality but you can't be a combination of them - unless of course you hold dual citizenship.

Okay. Here is only what my cousin, who traced our family tree on my grandmother's side, found.

Native American, African, English, Italian, German, and Dutch, and French-Canadian

My mom's dad was Lebanese, Assyrian and African

On my father's side it's just straight Irish and Prussian

Though, I think the biggest mutt I ever knew was my civics teacher last year. He was white, black, Cherokee indian, and possibly Asian...he was from pretty much every major race. It was cool. He looked like it too, his skin was a neutral darkish medium, and his facial features were kind of a mix...
