I took my sister with the pushchair and realised I'd never noticed any lifts, there are stairs and escalators, but no ramps or lifts, as far as I could see, that's disgusting, I thought everything had to be accesible to disabled people this year too.

There's supposed to be a disabled lift from the taxi drop off point up to the main concourse of the overground station but I have to say I've never spotted where it is. Most of the underground is not accessible for the disabled. You are right about disabled access from this year - the real joke of it is that the legislation was passed something like 10 years ago so it's not like everyone had no time to tackle the issue.

Euston station does not require lifts as there is a ramp all the way from the platforms to the exit. If you talking about the Underground then yes you are right, there is no lift. You wanna also try getting to the taxi's, that is murder.

I'm not entirely sure, but you could try this link:

As for the Disabilty Discrimination Act (1995) it does not state that companies have to make their premises entirely disabled friendly. What is actually says is that a company should make best efforts to help passengers with disabilities and a company is not obliged to make an alteration if that single alteration would cost more than 5000 pounds. Dumb but true.

Unfortunately due to the age of the London tube system, very few stations are accessible for pushchairs / wheelchairs
