I used to think that too, but then my grandfather told me that they do that because that's the only place on their bodies that is not padded, thus the only place they can feel that "congratulatory slap"

You have got to get more secure with yourself buddy. I don't think anyone on the gridiron has gotten aroused after they crushed someone and the 300 pound defensive end pats you on the can. Is the pile on at the end of a championship seem like a gay thing to you also?

I have been telling people this for years and now I can pass it on to yahoo. This is why all homophobes (people with a complex against gays) have take a different view point.
The world thought Carl Lewis (Track great) was gay and no one could out run him.
Greg Louginas (Olympic diver) admitted to gay being and no one could beat him.
Dennis Rodman dreamed about being gay and no one could out rebound him.

Probably never. It is slightly weird in the macho-est of sports but there ya go. Doesn't bother me all that much.
Think A-Rod slapping that ball out of that first basemen's mitt was more gay in last year's MLB playoffs.
