A kiss is a kiss when that is what it was intended to be.

It doesnt matter if it is just a pair of lips touching or if you are making any sounds or if your shoving your tongue down each others throats.

i am not aware of any sounds that a kiss makes unless when a child playfully goes "smack".

a kiss is when your lips touch another persons cheek or lips (or anywhere else). there is no sound

a french kiss is used by lovers and they put their toungues in each others mouth. this is also mostly silent.

a kiss is like both of what you said, and it's also when people blow a kiss in the air or make the smack sound, all with the intention of showing affection for a person, or on an object like a letter.

Kisses can be classified by many different categories: a peck, a slobber, a deep-throat...so a kiss is a kiss, it just depends on what KIND of kiss it is.
