"Just enough" is not enough. You must eat to fuel your body. If you are not, your body will store fat to survive. You will develop a lower metabolism and keep the weight on. You must eat when you are hungry. However you must eat the correct foods. Diet means WHAT you eat. Not HOW MUCH. going on a diet means changing your diet, not eating less.

Maybe try a different form of exercising and remember you don't want to lose too fast. Instead of just watching carbs, try to watch caloric intake also. If you hit a plateau, don't give up, work out a little harder. It's all about giving that extra push.

Just a tip: don't eat big meals. Snack alot between meals, but just nibble. This way, it builds up your metabolism because it is always digesting and your body becomes used to that. Then you will start burning more calories.

You are doing this right, remember your also building muscle & muscle weighs more than fat. Go by how your clothes fit, if they are getting big, then you on the right track.

You could have a medical issue... IE: thyroid problem. Consult your doctor if you haven't already. Good luck!

Doing it right, which is the way you are doing it, takes time. Watch your sugar intake.
