I Know you said ladies only but i am a male let me tell you what my wife takes. Excedrin. she use to take tylonal. she's been taking exedrin for 6years now it works wonders for any pains. From headaches to backaches to toothache.and yes even menstrual cramps.
oh yes and if your husband/boyfriend is a pain it works for that to. lol.but all jokes aside Exedrin does work for all pains. and if u can't take aspirn. they also come asprin free too. good luck

Totally depends.. every person is different.
I take 2 Ex strength Pamprin and 2 Advil. It makes me a little tired and I usually take a nap.. when I get up I take 2 more advil (because I'm on top of the pain by then and it isn't so bad). Then I'm good to go. I'm 37 and have had issues with endometriosis (meaning my period cramps are horrendous). If you have the option.. use a hot pad or warm compress on your middle when you lie down. Be sure to eat with the meds so you don't have an icky stomach (find some mac & cheese or your fav comfort food).
Hope you feel better..

I've had the same problem with my cramps. Whenever you have time go to the doctor and tell him and he'll perscribe you some strong 800 milligram ibuprofen it knocks the pain right out. But, 4 now I guess go to the drugstore and get you some motrin with ibuprofen like the other women said.. Good luck....

okie..my mom does this remedy for me since i get such bad cramps that i freeze in one pose... in a frying pan have very little oil. heat the oil and add one egg. quickly mix the egg so its still liquid and not solid and its still abit rawish. then eat that egg..after a while ur pain will go away. try it. if it worked on me it will surely work on u! oh and i'm also 20:).. oh..also avoid eating this that are bitter/sour and spicy. it makes the pain worst!

a lot of the women i know swear by Midol, but for some reason it always made me feel sick and strung out. idk if it was from the caffeine in it or what. anyway, i usually just take 2 or 3 200mg advil and it will take a little bit of time to kick in, but it works well for me.

Motrin is good but you shouldn't drink if you take it.
