As a Mom of two girls one 19 and the other 8 I see no problem with a light lip gloss!!! As long as the red you are talking about is not too red... Make it light!!! And as far as for school around here school allows girls that are in 6th grade to wear lip gloss anyone younger can not.. So I'm sure it is OK but check your school handbook first.. Don't want to get in trouble the first day of school!!

Make sure that your school doesn't have a policy against make-up, such as if the red is too dark or noticable or could be mistaken for lipstick. If it's a light red, and you say it's a lipgloss, it should be fine to wear to school, but don't get too glammed up for school, because then you'll have nothing special to do when you go to parties and such! Also, make sure your parents don't mind you wearing it to school, because they might havve a problem with that.

You don't know until you try but I love the pinks and peachy colors. Very light but flirty as well. If you really worry what everyone'll say wear it to school on a Friday-that's what I do when I try out new makeup, it gives you the whole weekend to take a break if ppl bothered you about it. Have more confidence in yourself, smile! It's vital to pull the makeup off! = )

although make up can depend on skin color, eye color, hair color, etc.
allot of it can be just from personallity.
for example: a super shy and private person, most of the time, wouldnt wear bold make up
but your only wearing lipgloss you you should be fine! plus your either in 7th or 8th grade and by then almost everyone is obsessed with make up!
to make sure you wont come to school, and regret it, just consult your closest friends and ask them for thier honest opion

If you are just starting to wear lipgloss, then start out with clear glosses. If not, light red gloss should be fine!:)

of course you can wear it to school. lipgloss doesn't look anything like lipstick, so why not? it's not like you are wearing lipstick to school, It's just lipgloss. They wouldn't make the lipgloss at all if you couldn't wear it, right?

well, i'm 12 and small also, and i feel like sometimes wearing really prominent colored lipgloss is weird so i usually stick with clear or frosty pinks, but it all depends on whether the red color is too bright and if it matches ur outfit.

Well, if your parents say it's ok...I don't see why you can't. As long as your school allows it, and don't wear it too often. You want to show your natural beauty. If your lips need moisture try a lip balm, or a clear/sheer moisturizing lip gloss. Make sure you do not make a huge fuss over make-up at school though.

Well try it, I am 12 just going into the 7th grade and I have wore makeup all last year to school. Try it. If your friends,teachers, or principal has a problem with it just say "what color should I wear?"

just wear clear lipgloss it will bring out the natural shade of ur lips.
