Well, yeah I iron around the buttons. But it still touches them sometimes. And THEY DON"T MELT!! Crazy.

Chemistry, my dear. Are you taking it in school yet? Clothing manufacturers purposely buy buttons that hold up in high temperatures, such as the clothes dryer and irons!

I always turn the buttons facing down on the ironing board and then iron .
