You can get a stereo minijack(a headphone jack) to RCA stereo for not very much. However if you have a better sound card, you may have a SPDIF(Digital) out that you may be able to connect to your receiver. Any digial out should be marked on your computer, a lot of newer PCs are including them.

Simplest would be to get a 'Y' cable from radio shack that has 1/8" stereo plug on one end that split into 2 RCA plugs. This goes from the speaker out jack on your computer to the AUX input on the stereo. Make sure you turn the output sound on the 'puter and volume way down before testing things out. Stereo AUX inputs are made for 'line level' outs which are much lower than speaker outs.

im not sure if what your stereo model look like but you need to have a connector from your pc to ur stereo. You can buy that in any electrical shop.mostly those stereo comes with different connectors (audio/video).instead of your PC speakers, you 30 connect the conector to the socket from you stereo to your PC.

okay, i'm assuming your stereo has an AUX setting and has and Audio In jack (the red and white input thingys). There's a cable you can get at best buy or any other electronics store. one end plugs in to the headphone jack on your computer and the red/white cables go to the Audio In or Aux port on your stereo.
This is what they look like... http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=164
but you can just as easily get it at best buy
