There are still plenty of pagans that worship and invoke Zeus and the other gods and goddesses of the pantheon. Just because the mainstream doesn't know this doesn't mean they are gone. Old Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Hindu, Celtic, etc. religions are all still alive and well. This was more for some of your answerers, but also agreeing that Zeus was not destroyed.

There is no real answer to that...the pagans just kinda faded away so no real story ever written about if anything happened. I Do know that the early church used the image of Zeus as the picture of the Father

Nietzsche said God is dead. I don't know if that covers gods. But mythology doesn't have any stories about Zeus being dead. Greek mythology says that as long as someone's name is remembered, they have an afterlife (kinda like having your name written in the Book of Life vs. being blotted out of the book in Christian heaven.) So if you remember his name, then he's still alive.
