A human. This whole reasoning thing is pretty sweet. And my thumbs are awesome.

A bacterium: a lack of sentience in this human-dominated world would be a blessing. ;-)

On top of that, I'd thrive quite nicely on all the human waste and destruction.

On a less serious note, I'd want to be a sperm whale, so that I could explore the oceans at depth, dine on squid, and live in the water. Alternatively, I'd love to be a cuttlefish to see what the world is like from the viewpoint of an intelligent, non-vertebrate animal.

A cockroach ; because like them I'm dirty, I leave shite everywhere I go, I like hiding in the dark and only coming out at night when everybody else is asleep; and,just like them, I'm a survivor.
