Auburn

It depends on what they plan on majoring in. I've only been to Auburn for football games but my fiance and my sister went to Auburn and both loved it! The town is small enough that you feel safe but not too small. Both are good institutions though.

I would choose University of North Alabama..
Smaller campus. Smaller class size. Located in nice town. Lake / Tennessee River near by. Lower cost of living in that area. Good churches in area.
