I really do not know, but, I think they mean is that they ate as much fruit and vegetables as they normally would do and that they exercised (appropriate exercises for pregnant women) and the weight they only gained was that of the baby and the fluid surrounded the baby (and a little for themselves to keep it all in balance).
That is what I think when they say they have not gain weight. So, when they actually do have the baby, because they had exercised moderately and ate a lot of healthy foods (with,of course, that occasional cravings now and then) that they bounce right back into shape. It either takes them little to no time at all to get the figure they once had before.

It's possible. But, the mother has to be overweight before getting pregnant. And, it's not healthy to lose weight when pregnant.
In my first pregnancy, I was overweight beforehand. I had very bad morning sickness, lost 23 pounds within 5 months. Then, I gained 17 pounds and gave birth to a 10 pound boy. So, technically I did not gain any weight in the pregnancy.
As the mother loses her own weight, and the baby grows and the baby weight is gained - the two can closer even each other out.
But again, it's not healthy for the mother or the baby.

It's not healthy to not gain any weight while pregnant. Doctors suggest around 20-30 lbs. Think about it your baby weights at least 5-8 lbs, extra blood, tissue, water weight, and everything that comes along with being pregnant. You really should not put your baby's health at risk just because you don't want to gain any weight.

I have known a few women that were overweight before they became pregnant and then adopted a healthier lifestyle while pregnant (eating properly, being more active) so in fact they lost fat off their own bodies but did not harm the baby in the process.
Well I don't advocate dieting during pregnancy it is possible to maintain a healthy lifestyle while pregnant
I gained 15 lbs through out my whole pregnancy and my daughter is incredibly healthy.

I don't' think its healthy for you or your growing baby to not gain weight. Just being smart about what you eat and trying to maintain what little weight you must gain during pregnancy is the best thing to do

people usually gain 25-30 with the baby which is normal, anything higher than that is you over eating. my friend gained 60 lbs with her first baby, cause when she wasnt preg she would eat alot and not gain anything and then she got preg and ate like before and just kept the extra weight with her. so if u dont wanna gain extra baggage dont over eat. eat alot of greens too. just eat normal healthy foods and lots of water. and walk a bit. i only gained 28 lbs with my son but lost it. its all about what u put in ur mouth. ur baby will only need a lil bit the rest is on u.

PREGNANT PEOPLE SHOULD GAIN WEIGHT FOR THE BABY...NOT GAINING WEIGHT TAKES AWAY FROM BABY'S WEIGHT.
IT IS NOT HEALTHY TO GAIN ONLY ONE POUND THAT'S NOT EVEN THE AMOUNT OF AMNIOTIC FLUID....
I GAINED AT LEAST 30 POUNDS WITH MY TWO KIDS AND THEY CAME OUT A NORMAL WEIGHT....

First of all its very unhealthy for you and your baby so if you considering that your baby's health must not be important to you, second it is normal for a women to gain at least 25 pounds (anything over are under that is unhealthy) If you wanna stay in shape do some exercise that's safe and don't get into the bad habit of eating for two CAUSE YOUR NOT! your eating for yourself and that baby takes what it needs.

You can't. Your body takes on 20% more blood, plus you have the weight of the actual baby, placenta and other stuff. You can lose all the weight quickly, usually if you are a young mom you will lose the weight quicker.
