Better bring your medications with you, otherwise you'll have the following problems:
1. There are almost none drugstore in Puerto Escondido.
2. They may not have Vicodin in the entire country.
3. They my ask for the prescription.
4. It could be more expensive.
5. You can't take back medications into the US.

I'm serious.

You are supposed to have a script from a doctor in Mexico for narcotics... yes you can buy them but you can go to jail if they catch you... a couple here in Arizona went to jail last year for buying Valium without obtaining a script... does the pharmacy get in trouble for selling them..... no!

Take your old prescriptions. Its possible to buy Vicodin with a prescription from a Mexican doctor. Or change your away date.
