Generally, though, you want to keep your pulse below 80 and yor BP below 90/130, and you should be okay. Try walking for 30 minutes a day, nice and brisk, to raise your heart rate, and it should help your pulse rate come down over time, when you are resting, as well as bring your blood pressure down some. Also avoid high fat or fried foods- I mean you can still eat them but dont eat them more than 2-3 times a week.

Normal BP range:

110-130
------------
70-90

Normal pulse: 65-80

A lot of variables go into this, so use this only as a guide. However if you substantially out of these ranges, see a doctor
