...are the Rocks on their way back to the top of the NL West and do you think they will make the post season. Before I get completely blasted by nay sayers, let me add that I know the Rockies have many limitations and I am not asking if they will go all the way.

And before I completely answer your Q, I will admit to being a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fan.
The Rockies are a sound team offensively, but as any baseball fan can tell you, it is Pitching that wins pennants. So, since the Rockies play 81 games in Coors Field, their pitchers must be that much more focused and careful. On the road, they are better than any other team in the NL West by far, I think. It's just those crazy games at their home.
If I were the management of Colorado, I would look over the market for any good Lefty closer. That's what I think the Rocks are lacking right now.
I do wish them well this season, and we will see you in October!

The Cubs have taken the first 2 from The Cardinals. That's better news.
