I went to the Doctor's Office when I was 7. The doctor I had was an asian woman. When she examined me, she put her hand down my pants and touched my crotch. Was that right?
Ever since then, it's been kind of bothering me as I get older. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

Back when I was 13 years old, I had a guy doctor. Nothing wrong with the guy, just when he examined me, teo female doctors were in the room with while I was naked. One of the female doctors pulled down my underwear snd held me down to the table while the doctor stuck needles in my legs.

Has anyone had these experiences at the Doctor's Office. Was it right for these things to happen?

It's been 6 years since I've had a check up. I rarely get sick, and when I do, I'm only sick for only 2-5 weeks.

Sounds like you had doctors who had no bedside manners. The first doctor at the age of seven could have been checking your testicles to make sure that they were both descended, could have been checking to see ( without looking ? ) if you were circumcised or not. Both of these are perfectly normal physical exams of a male child, with the parent present. It would have been better if the doctor warned you or spoke to you as to what she was doing.

The second incident is more disturbing, At 13 you should be more compliant to the requests of the doctors and shouldn't be held down for any reason other than you were giving them a really hard time and your parent/guardian didn't want to bring you back when you would be more calm and agreeable. Also, at 13, most injections can be given in the arm, unless you have really skinny arms. Again, this is a case of really bad bedside manners rather than sexual abuse.

I'm sorry that you have had such horrible experiences. Here is a joke that I'm sure that you can appreciate. What do they call the person who graduates medical school with the lowest grade average ?

Doctor.

Sounds a little unethical and strange at best. You may want to speak with a professional about your feelings. It is probably too late to pursue any type of legal recourse. Be assured, if your not comfortable with the way a doctor behaves for any reason, you have a legal to file a complaint and ask what they are doing and why they are doing it and you can always leave and get another opinion.

Also it is typical for a doctor to check a patient's genitial, but usualy this would occur during an annual physical or because there is a specific reason to do so. If your getting sick for two to fives at a time, I would say you need to see a doctor during that time. Typically when I get a cold I may be out of action for a few days, not several weeks. The other question I would ask is how often is rarely for you?

For me, I get sick once every three to five years - that would be considered rarely getting sick.

You should have told your parents about these visits. They could have complained about this, without any retribution for you. As for having more than one doctor in the room, perhaps they were residents (medical students in training). You can always request for them not to be part of the examination.

Do not let these experiences put you off from getting medical attention. You should have an annual physical examination. If you become sick and need a doctor, do not assume that you will "get over it" without needing medical attention. Being sick for 2-5 weeks might mean that an examination is needed, which might result in the doctor prescribing medication, etc.

If you feel uncomfortable going to the doctor, have a relative or a friend go with you. Good luck.

As a guy I have never had a Dr touch me anywhere private. There is a test they did to all the guys at my school where a nurse came in and checked if both had dropped, amongst other tests. For some reason they skipped me.

I assume you mean you get sick for 2-5 days not weeks. If its weeks then you should see a Doctor.

You forgot to tell us about the time where you were in the hospital and everyone was wearing white. They locked you in this room that had no door nob, no windows, and padding all over the walls and door. There were no tables or chairs and you had to sit on the floor, which was also made of rubber. Your hands were tied behind your back in a straight jacket and you had a muzzle on your mouth.

This is where you were kept and now, you found your way out to society and are letting us know what you fear.

WAIT.... look over there............. no over there............. it's a doctor!
