How can I attach the FOLDER ( whcich contains folder and files) on email as attachment?

Can somebody tell me if I want to attach the whole FOLDER to a email, how can I do that, because they only can attach the file not the FOLDER that contains many folders and files.

Zip the folder into a zip file or some other type of compressed file. This will allow the recipient to extract the entire folder from the single zip file. If you use Windows XP, you can create a zip file out of a folder by right-clicking on the folder, choose Send To and then Compressed (zipped) folder. Then send the zip file (which will look like a folder with a zipper on it) to your recipient and they will have the folder and all files inside. Plus it is a lot smaller and quicker to send than your folder would be.

(You only need Winzip if you don't use Windows XP, but it's still a good program anyhow.)

Probably the best way is to put the contents of the folder (all the files) into a compressed archive file, and then attach that archive to the E-mail.

If you are using Windows, the easiest format will be a ZIP archive, which you can create using a program such as WinZip or PKZip.For Linux, a so-called "tarball" is the most common format (an archive produced by compressing a tar(1) archive with gzip(1)), although Linux can handle ZIP archives, too. For Mac, there is a native archive format, which I cannot remember the name of, but I think there are Mac tools to handle ZIP and tarball archives, too.

u cant best way would to put all the files into a self excution zip file, u will ned to get winzip for this.
eg http://www.winzip.com and then inside the program it has make a exe. so when soembody opens it, it will extact the folders and files within.

if you have winzip http://www.winzip.com/ zip the entire folder into a zip file then attach it

just hit attach and DONT DOUBLE CLICK but click only once so that it is highlighted and then click ok. Depends on the emailing program you use but this should work
