Dick DeVos is the best canadate. He has spent $16.5 million. Yet, most of it ($12.9 million) was his own money. The rest he raised from 18,765 people. Govener Granholm has raised only $3.3 million from 17,045 people. She is Canadian and let the Canadians bring their trash into Michigan. Her commercials brag that she brought 1,000 jobs to Michigan by convincing Google to move here, yet that one thousand does not help the many out of work. Detroit has shrunk by 50,000 people because of there being no work. This all started when Jennifer Granholm came into office. Makes you wonder, dosn't it?

You obviously do not remember John Engler. He was as corrupt as they came. If you liked John Engler you will love Dick Devos if there is anything left to sell he will do it. You should look into his background as president of Amway he outsourced many jobs to China. He is not trustworthy and not at all like his Commercials portray him to be. On the other hand I think Granholm is. I think she inherited an awful mess following John Engler and ran smack dab into the Bush economy which has cost America millions of jobs. Michigan is hit especially hard do to being so invested in the auto industry, Google will be a good thing that is 1000 google jobs but there will be many more from all the sides.

I don't think the ability to raise money or spend money for campaigns is the best method of choosing the best candidate. And remember what Granholm had to work with . . . she's trying to clean up messes Engler, 9/11, & the UAW have made for Michigan. She's got a long way to go, but I think she deserves another term to prove herself. And the last thing Michigan needs is a Republican. How "in touch" with the needs of the people of Michigan is a millionaire (billionaire?) going to be? And don't you think a rich bastard like DeVos has a bunch of rich bastard friends that have been lining the pockets of his campaign fund?

Yeah, Detroit's downsizing only started when Granholm was elected. Are you crazy??? The bulk of Devos' money is his own. If you think that's a good idea, you are basically saying that only the wealthy should have power in this country.
