The US DOD has ordered 3700 more troops to Iraq. At first glance, I said, its about time!, thinking they were pulling that many OUT! The US better start-up the draft to meet all the continuing troop deployments to that area. Soon, the volunteers now coerced Bush cannon fodder might become educated to the real purpose of US involvement in that area of the world i.e. imperialism, economic gain, and oil. (not to mention Bush's deadly ego and arrogance). Then again, another sweep of young US drug addicts and gangsters into that war might be a blessing in disquise!

Clinton SUCKS also and failed to prevent 9/11 by his inaction at the first Twin Towers explosion and also Carter failure to confront the Iranians during the takeover of the American Embassy and the capture of the employees for 444 days and failure to declare WAR on Iran for attacking the Embassy.
There will NOT be a DRAFT because the DOD does not want
a bunch of boneheads in the Military.

There will be NO Draft. If you are not willing to serve in the Armed Forces for America, then we don't want you. YOU will be more likely to and get others killed if you are a coward and not good enough to serve willingly.
That is the truth. The ONLY ones talking about a draft are the anti-war, left wing "liberals" and democrats who want to scare the ignorant into supporting their causes.

i'm not sure what the question is, but you're absolutely right. it will be interesting to see how many people would actually respond to being drafted- there are already a few cases of soldiers who served already deciding to go to prison rather than going back, and i salute them.
