when is the wii's release date?

An exact date hasn't been chosen for the release of the Wii, yet, but it'll be before Christmas, don't worry.

A recent Official press release had everyone jumping at a October 2nd release due to Nintendo sayinng there maybe a criptic clue within it, this being that every Monday in the "4th quarter" release period had a game coming out except October 2nd, November 20th (which would be after the PS3 and Nintendo stated they will release before..) and November 27th, (which is after thanksgiving which Nintendo also said they would release before)...but no one really knows yet.
I recommend keeping your eyes peeled on the internet on the 23rd of August. Nintendo is set to give a presentation at the upcoming 2006 Games Convention that's located in Leipzig, Germany. It's supposed to be an hour long, and it is named "Wii prove our promise". Nintendo has said in the past that they will reveal launch details in September. The 23rd of August just might be close enough for Nintendo to say a few things.

The wii will be relesed sometime in november...closer to the middle or the end right before christmas though. The price wont be more the 250 or less then 200 and will come in 5 different colors, black, white, red, platinum, and lime green. Awsome debut games that will come out with the wii include super mario galazy*working title*, another final fantasy crystal cronicles*for those who remember it on GameCube*, metroid 3, legend of zelda: twilight princess, and super smash bros. brawl including new characters like samuse aran w/o her suit, wario, medaknight*from kirby* & solid snake from metal gear solid...definetly going to be a great buy the wii is, compared to the 500 and 600$ versions of the ps3 comming out.
