i have sbc yahoo dsl and want to connect this computer and also one in another room where there is no phone line.

I bought mine at Offive Depot and when I got it they were giving a $30 instant rebate... I got it for $30. And it works great.

You can buy a wireless router that you can use with your other computers in the house. You connect the router to your DSL modem, and connect wirelessly within 150 - 200 feet in your home. You can extend the range by adding Access Point in the house. A wireless router cost about $50 - 80. Make sure that the computers you plan to use wirelessly have built-in wireless card, or a wireless network card. Otherwise you will need to buy one for each computer.

Buy a PCI wireless NIC for the PC in the other room and also a wireless router. This will allow the use of the same connection without additional wiring. Go to Best Buy or a similar store or buy on line.
