Why do people and companies put up with celebrities and their antics?

I agree, they need to start getting tougher about this stuff. Im tired of seeing celebs walk on other people.

They put up with celebrities who are the 'flavor of the moment' in the hopes of making money. That is why they will let people with no talent act in movies, record records, etc. Once they are no longer 'it' they are quickly dumped for the next big thing.
Lindsay better watch herself. She is believing too much of her press. If she gets canned from a movie and then gets sued by the production company, she will not have squat. She will then be 'black listed' and no one will hire her to do anything. All the hangers-on will bail on her when the money's gone, and she will not be getting the free ride when she goes out. She'll have to think about getting a "real job".

Yes, however it bothers me much more that folks idolize those identical celebrities and that youngsters are taught to do the identical. Celebrities are humans simply the identical as all people else. People must spend extra time following the folks that spend their time doing well for the sector.

I know they shouldn't put up with it, but they have to. Without the big stars in their movie, the movie would just be a flub and nobody would watch it. The stars give the movies the name. It's sad, but it's the truth. Hollywood these days....
