i thing naruto won because naruto wanted to show sasuke that in konoha you can become strong by putting the scratch on his forehead to show that he is following the path of itatchi ... thats what i think but sasukes right that he needs hat if he had that he would have killed sasuke.

if Naruto controls his demon fox (not go bezerk by the time the third chakra tails forms) then there is a chance of beating Sasuke. However in the manga even though 3 years passed it seemed Sasuke is stronger than Naruto :( Naruto better work harder in controlling that demon!
