She apparently used the insurance money provided her after her son was killed in Iraq.

In case you can't remember who she is, she has tried to get President Bush to meet with her to discuss the war in Iraq and he refuses.

Since he tends to insulate himself from all but the cheering mindless hordes of knee jerk religous and right wing nut jobs, do you think this type of exposure to someone who has been affected by the consequences of his ill-thought war strategy will actually work to get his attention or will he send the SS over and haul her off in a rail car to Guantonimo?

Guess I shouldn't have worried too much about the reich's outpouring of hatred. They only thing ya'll have forgotten so far is to borrow the Coultergeist's term for referring to 9/11 widows who choose to have a public voice as "media whores". Maybe your minds were still numb from taking in your daily pablum quota from Fox "news".

Peace...

Honestly, the outpouring of hatred for this woman who LOST HER CHILD TO THE WAR IN IRAQ is totally shocking to me. Have you no mercy? The only thing I think she is guilty of is veering from her main message and quest which is to ask Bush why we went and remain in Iraq. To the degree she has raised other matters that diminish her main focus, I would attribute to her fragility for having lost a child.

Really people, do you hate this much all year long? Are you like this on Christmas morning.

Get a grip. You all probably think of yourselves as Christians, but then again that same group finds rationale for protesting at US soldiers' funerals because the US government is soft on gays. Such an odd and bizarre time we live in. ...And unfortunately I think the hatred is becoming worse and I worry about how it will end.

Objectionable, unjust, an abomination, that's what some of the comments here are for a woman that has lost her son in the pursuit of a flawed foreign policy. I am sure she would not have taken this stance if he had died in the defence of America. Why did you lot not have so much vitriol for an administration that was prepared to fly planes into the WTC and murder fellow Americans. Shame on you, particularly those here that claim to be linked to the military.

Leogirl0804 is definitely Ann Coulterd hiding here under that pseudonym.

Whatever.

Cindy has already met with the president. That little fact seems to get left out of all the nonsense about her.

Trying to compare Bush to Hitler simply shows how thoughtless you are. You are just another Bush basher and hater.

Cindy has been defused and will not have any effect on anything.

What is important is that democracy will eventually flourish in the Middle East and replace the terrorism of fundamentalism there.

Sorry.. but I don't agree with you on pretty much any of your opinions. If President Bush were to meet with her will it bring her son back? No. Just because she is making a fool out of herself does not mean he has to be a part of it. Maybe, she should meet with him and tell him off (since that is her obvious intention) so that she can go on with her life. I truly do not believe that by her being his neighbor will change anything. She will end up moving because she will soon see that he is not bowing down to her commands. He has a country to run.

The fact the media keeps covering Cindy Sheehan is proof there is not liberal bias in the media. She has said her peace and now it is time for the media to find someone new.

This non-stop coverage of her is not helping the liberal cause or candidates. If the media was really bias to liberals, they would leave her alone

As for the land purchase. I supose she can buy land where ever she wants.

It's a free country; as long as she doesn't stage late night parties that can keep the Bush's or the other neighbors up at night I don't see a problem with her buying land wherever she sees fit (even if this includes Crawford, TX). I respect her beliefs as well as those of her detractors.

You don't have your facts straight. President Bush did meet with Cindy. In fact, she was grateful. Sometime later, she changed her mind about President Bush and started her anti-war protesting. If she wants to buy a place in Crawford and continue her anti-war protesting that is her right.

She is a nothing. She only wants to meet with the President to further her own cockamamie agenda. I would be pissed if the President lowered himself to meet with that piece of ****. She wants to continually dishonor her son's memory in Texas than I hope she has good air conditioning. If she threatens the president in anyway, I hope they put a bullet between her homely ugly liberal eyes.

Nope. She hates America. Proof positive: Visiting Venezuela and joining in an anti-American chorus along with its dictator, Hugo Chavez. I feel really bad that she disgraced her son the way she has. We shouldn't look past his sacrifices because of the blatant stupidity of his mother.

She is loving the lime light on the back of her son, and the stupid liberals and American hater are using her, and she thinks she is important to them, did you ever look into her eyes she looks half nuts. When Bush is out of office they will find someone else to do their dirty work and push her aside like a dirty old shoe. she is insignificant, she just wanted more publicity.
