yes definitely... but not for quite a while yet... there are no decent prospects on the horizon at this time ,that are capable of gaining the majority of the citizens support.. Hillary would never win if she runs , and Condoleezza won't run...it will be some years yet....

I don't see any reason why we couldn't have a female president. "A female couldn't do any worse than the males have done"
Actually a female would probably do a better job at running this country than the males. She knows how to balance a budget, keep peace among snibbling crybaby's and can usually spot a fraud a mile away! She can tactfully put you in your place anytime you try to pull the wool over her eyes!As far as ending terrorism. If they'd send 50 menopausal women to track down those terrorist it'd be accomplished in a very short time! So when a Female is running for president....be sure to vote for her!

I am a male and I definitely say: YES and as soon as 2008, but no Hillary for me.
We had our share of bad to worst male Presidents, being this Bush presidency the worst I have ever seem. Time for a change. A BIG change.

Yes. However our society is not quite ready for it. Sociologically, many "old boy" networks still prevent women's ability to get ahead in numerous professions, including political and religious leadership.

Perhaps in 50 years. But by then America will have become part of a collective of One World States.

I think in time we will have one, but hopefully it will not be Hillary Clinton. We have had enough problems with them in the White House. I don't trust her at all. She is a lawyer by trade you know.

I would like to see Condolisa Rice one day try for the position, maybe in 8 or 10 more years.

I really hope so! I just want to see if there will be a different spin on the presidential office. I have to say even though there really isn't a great pool to pick from at the moment, I'd be willing to vote for anybody but another Bush. (Heck at this point I'd vote a monkey into office. We really can't do any worse!...or do we already have a monkey in office? Hmmmm.)
