If there were no WMDs then why did 50 Syrian trucks leave a known Iraqi Military base loaded with all sorts of goodies just days before the invasion, destination Syria. Everyone who looks at the facts know the WMDs existed and this report just shows that the Iraqis are not stupid and sent them to Syria to hide them hoping the US would invade find nothing then leave. I think the you need to look deeper and see Hezbollah attacks on Israel before the Israeli response. Look deep into your religion of peace and see that we in the west simply react to your aggression. We don't start wars we end them.

have you ever been to Iraq? Afghanistan? Syria? have you ever seen these people up close? ever once seen the devastation and fear that these people inflected on their own people. Saddam was a mass murdering lunatic. he killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis over his twenty + years reign. you say that there were no w.m.d's found, funny that what was found were empty facilities that were set up for both nuclear and chemical production. droves supplies, and equipment to make w.m.d's. i served 13 months in Afghanistan, 12 in Iraq. these are things i have seen with my own 2 eyes. not a news clip i saw on CNN, and got all self righteous about. your obviously an intelligent person, you should just learn to do a Little more thinking for yourself instead of jumping on the war bashing band wagon. i don't like how this whole thing has Been handled anymore than anyone else. however, we should concentrate on the fastest way to break the enemies back than fastest way to pull out. like it or not we're committed, so lets finished.

Are you asking a question or just telling us your opinion?
A question would ask for varying responses, not just validation to the answer you've already made your mind up on.

I'm not saying I don't agree with one or two things you said, but don't go trying to tell me there are no Iraqi citizens who participate and propel the fighting. And don't try to dump the blame all on one thing (and since when is Bush a jewish-american?).

Boy, are you going to get a whole bunch of responses you didn't expect. Unless all you wanted to do is stir up controversy and get a whole bunch of replies.

If you want to look at war in just the economic sense, there is always someone who stands to benefit from war, or lack of it. Economically, Russia and France stood to loose millions of dollars with the downfall of Saddam. For them, money had to be part of their motivation. Now we have Israel and Palestine. The tension in the middle east had driven oil prices to about $75.00 p/b. Who is the economic winner in that? Iran is smiling all the way to the bank. All of us have to understand that there are many motivating factors for all involved, most of them are peculiar to the country, not just a "side". Lets all of us get our heads out of the sand and understand the broad ramifications of these situations.
