Its very possible. I have been intersted in traveling abroad myself so I have researched it thouroughly. The best site I have found so far is afs.org . It pretty much helps go anywhere from anywhere.

It is, but u need to have a reason before going to other country, and also u better be prepared for a cultural shock.
