Your teacher needs to make it "hands-on". They need to make it relate to your life and life experiences. Also, open your mind and decide that you will enjoy it and challenge your teacher to make it more concrete so you can understand it.

Because 2+2 always equals 4.
However, If 2+2 = 6 today, but 2+2 =19 the next day, you would always wonder what the sum would be on the day following. Curiosity and variety makes life interesting.
Tell you what. Discipline your mind.
Mathematics is logic and order.
Try this, look at ALL of the numbers involved, both ways, and you shall see something curious.
1+9=10
2+9=11
3+9=12
4+9=13
5+9=14
6+9=15
7+9=16
and so on....
1x9=9
2x9=18, but 1+8=9
3x9=27, but 2+7=9
4x9=36, but 3+6=9
5x9=45, but 4+5=9
6x9=54, but 5+4=9
7x9=63, but 6+3=9
8x9=72, but 7+2=9
9x9=81, but 8+1=9
10x9=90, but 9+0=9
11x9=99, but 9+9=18, and 1+8=9
12x9=108, but 1+0+8 = 9
13x9=117, but 1+1+7=9
14x9=126, but 1+2+6=9
15x9=135, but 1+3+5=9
16x9=144, but 1+4+4=9
and so on.........forever. The fact that it goes on forever should be very interesting and stimulate your mind into discovering other 'strange things', who knows, maybe you shall be the ultimate discoverer of a mathematical anomaly or improbability.

Use different colored pens for your notes and bring little things to do during class. For example, always put lotion on, get a peice of gum or organize your purse during that period. Also, you could think about other things that you could do to make the class less boring during the class, if you are really bored.

Because you are not paying enough attention. If you pay more attention it won't be boring. Take notes, listen, ask questions. And it will not be boring. You know without maths you can't achieve any profession you want to achieve. Maths is very important. Take my tip and i promise you maths will not be boring.

I think math gets more interesting as you go. Just make sure you understand and hang in there!

maybe cause ur teacher talks toooooooo much or u don't understand.
if u paid all the attention that u can maybe it won't be boring. and try to get involed as much as u can who knows maybe u r a smartie pants in the math section!

math it's most interesting for me. but often teachers were not upto mark. but still i used to do my own mental exercises

I was in the situation but when u start understanding it becomes more easy and interesting.

obviously it is not your passion and you have difficulty finding relevance in the subject.
