I thought it was a great combination of the book and the ALW musical. I was a little dissapointed that the Phantom didn't have as good a singing voice as Michael's though...(But he was really cute..so it made up for it....Who would have thought...a cute Phantom????)

OMG r u serious its like my favorite movie i agree with you on the voice it could've been alot better i've never seen the stage production though but my BF going to see it in Vegas *sigh*I've read the book i didnt care for it too much though. I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!

oh and the phantom wasnt lip sincing the director wanted them all to sing there on there own and ADW picked Gerard Butler as the phantom because he thought he had the rockstar type voice he wanted the phantom to have.

I am absolutely obsessed with the movie. As for the voice, I can't stand Michael Crawford's. I love Gerry Butler's, though. (the phantom)

the music was great; i went and bought the soundtrack. i hated "christine", cuz i thought the actress portrayed her poorly. i thought the phantom wasnt ugly at all (kinda hot in an older guy kinda way) which destorys the entire premise of the movie. overall, id give it a c plus

I love this movie. I've never seen the opera or read the book but I love the movie and of couse the music.

It was an okay movie. My only real peeve was that you could tell that the Phantom was lip syncing in several areas to the song, and I HATE it when you can see that..
