There is no way I believe that the government would ban anime (or is it animé?).
Anyhow, other than their not being a reason that anyone would really think it should be banned... I think it would be against the law to ban it.
BTW, I've come to like some anime, but I don't understand why they make most of the characters have the same facial expressions on every TV show.

Someone is tugging on your chain. They can't ban you from watching that, just like they can't ban certain books from being read. They can try like heck, but it won't happen.
