Do female teachers who have sexual relationships with their male pupils ever get referred to as 'paedophiles'. Why is this?? I'm not sure whether they do

Wouldn't it depend on the age of the teacher herself ??? Beside, decade long difference in age seems "normal" at this age & time.

Personally, I think, it's HIGHLY CHALLANGING to have affair with

>> someone who's your boss/teacher/manager
>> someone who's ALREADY committed with someone else, be it be someone's wife/partner/girlfriend

The sex of the offender is irrelevant.

If a woman has a sexual relationship with a boy, it is no different than a man having sex with a girl.

The difference occurs with how the judicial system deal with it, men are generally treated more harshly than women offenders in the courts and receive harsher sentences.

A 24 yr old teacher with an 18yr old pupil is in no way Paedophilia wheras of course any adult with anyone under the age of consent is techniclly paedophilia.

Technically they are paedophiles, but I've never seen them referred to as paedophiles in the news. Quite strange, huh?

Dunno. It seems so unfair but at the same time. When as a young 15 yr old lad i think i wished a few of my female teachers were paedo's. These foxy ladies gave me countless sleepless nights and didn't appreciate my honest reasons for falling asleep in the class room. Wasn't my fault. They did it. It's so unfair.

They should if they are not already. When someone crosses the line in such a way, male or female, they have proven themselves to be lazy and amoral.

Because the kid could be a minor but not necessarily a child, so they might have that philia that has to do with minors and students.

It's still immorale and wrong in my opinion.

i think they do, but its much less commonly broadcast because they are usually better at hiding it. if they are stupid enough to get found out then its their own fault if they get identified as paedophiles and/or sacked.
