We live in the desert and I take the coldest showers I can stand to bring my body temperature down. Then when I'm out in the heat, it feels more bearable. Also wear light colored clothing with airy fabric to help your body keep itself cool. Oh, and fruit juice popsicles. Eat as many as you want! They're nice and cold and good for hydration!!!

I have a small air conditioner in the kitchen and run a fan to blow it into the rest of the house, it's 82degrees where I am sitting but that is so much better then the 98 degrees outside. When I worked in the factory I used a dishtowel and would wet it with cool water and put it around by neck almost like a scarf and it really helped.ak

Because I only have a fan in my room, which got up to 88 degrees last week, I had to get creative. I opened my freezer for some cool air and saw the ice packs I use in my cooler. I wrapped two in dish towels and put one behind my neck and one at my lower back and was able to sleep for the first time in days. I would say during the day time, if you can, lie still and do the same. If you can't be still, try a damp towel around your neck that's been put in the freezer for a while.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN.... I am always hot too! I will let you know something that really helps me that you may want to try. Have you ever heard of the cooling neck ties/bandannas? They look like any regular neck band but they have some super absorbent crystals in the interior that will keep you cool in a hot environment. You soak it in cold water for 10 minutes and wear it around your neck, you get instant cooling refief, I am not kidding!
My family was tired of me complaining "It´s so hot... " all the time so they gave me one last year. At first I was like "Yeah right.." but then I traveled to Egypt last summer and I decided to use it. It worked!! You can find them at amazon or in some sports stores. You need to try it!

First let me know what made you to ask this question:
1. Climatic Condition
2. Hot food
3. Hot movies

There is only one solution is within you. Have nice shower in cold water, switch on the A/C & Sleep well after having some cold beer.

Turn your A/C to a cooler temp. Or take a cold shower. When I was younger and still lived with my parents I would wade around in a bath tub full of cold water when the power would go out. Now, I just turn the A/C to 70 and sit back and relax. ^.^

Go to Antarctica for your summer holiday. You'll learn to appreciate the heat back at home.

If you decide not to go to Antarctica, install some air con in your house, take very cold showers, eat ice cream regularly, and wear light-coloured clothing (white reflects heat).
