Heartburn doesn't cause your heart to have pains. If you are having pains in your heart, you need to seek medical attention. If it has been 5 days, You need to get to an emergency room.

When it comes to your chest you shouldn't really take any chances or take different advice you should go to the emergency room. I myself know that when you have chest pains it could range from heart burn, anxiety, stroke and heart attacks. I have been told if you are under a certain age that you can't have heart attacks and that is not true. I would go to the Doctor it is better to be safe than sorry.

I get the same crap...Alll the time, once I've gotten an attack of heart pain in school last year, and I couldn't even stand up to get to one class to another, and had to be in the nurse's office for two hours with this pain...I went to the doctor and he said it might of been indegestion, but I think I have Angina. Dont take meds, talk to your doc

go to the doc- 5 days or more is a long time for persisting pain. it could be something serious.

i suggest going to the doctor just to make sure. you want to rule out everything and have a professional tell you what their opinion is.
