LOL...I went out to a Texas Steakhouse one night, and I had had a REALLY bad day already, and I ordered a steak with a salad and baked potato, right? Not difficult at all. My salad got there, and there was a bug in the huge chunk of lettuce sitting in the middle of my plate that hadn't been chopped up. I had to get my own drink refill from the bar because I hadn't seen my waiter in over 10 minutes, and then they brought my steak out, and it was burnt. So I sent it back (again, 10 minutes later), and they brought me another one that was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle, with the SAME baked potato. After the third try, I just walked out of the restaurant and called corporate headquarters.

Well, I've had two experiences.
One was at Denny's. I decided to get an apple pie a la mode. Well, everything was going good, and you ever accidentally get your own hair in your mouth? Well, that's what I thought it was, but turns out it was someone else's hair. A long brown hair. Well, I got a server's attention and she asked if I wanted another one. I declined. The manager came and asked if I wanted another one as well. I did not another apple pie a la mode! Well, luckily, we fixed that situation but I am alot more wary of their food.
The another experience was when I went to a local Italian restaurant. It looked like a nice place, and one of my friends really liked it. I figure I'd go and try it, well we waited for awhile before the server even came. I decided to get the shrimp scampi pasta and a ceasar salad with it. Well, I get the salad, and it's really a decent size for a side salad. I was enjoying it until I noticed a few tables over and other people had a really small sized salad. I began to wonder if the server put in an actual order of the salad. All I wanted was a side salad. Well, I got her attention and asked about the salad. All she said was that she was sorry and thought I meant the actual salad. How many people order an entree and a whole salad?! She should have asked if I meant the whole salad or a side salad. But she didn't and then when my entree came, the pasta was lacking in flavor. I did not like the service, food was not that great and I vowed never to return to that place. Now it is closed down.

Steak n Shake in Sarasota, Florida. The waitress had horrible teeth and was a big smiler. She sat at the booth for the order, which would have been fine had she not had a rather peculiar body odor. Casual is great when you aren't spending a bunch of money for lunch, but when the server is too friendly - telling all her business with troubled kids and ex-husbands - the same rule applies with regards to the tip. As with any business, sometimes it's best to leave your personal life at the door, especially if the stories are not pertinent to the common small talk with guests.

It would have to be a blind date I went on a few years back. We went to a very nice, upscale restaurant. I'd never been and heard the nothing but wonderful things about the service, food, atmosphere...etc. Well, it started off, he didn't care for the hostess. Then he didn't like our server. He just didn't seem to approve of anything. He even thought the restaurant was too lighted to be romantic. This didn't put me in a romantic mood, but then things changed. The manager came over to apologize and she seemed to hit it off with my date quite well. Too well, in fact. She kept coming back to see if things were alright. She even offered to take his phone number to "correct this matter"... Needless to say, the last I heard they dated a few weeks and it didn't last. So, my worst experience was the time I got dumped on my blind date when he picked someone else up in front of me! See why I don't date much? And no, I have never been back to the restaurant....

I went to lunch with my sister and there was a hair in my salad, I had them take it back and they brought me the same salad with the hair removed. Imade them get me a new one. When they brought my dinner they brought the wrong drink for the second time and there was a wierd red fuzz on my pasta, and an eyelash baked into my cheese bread! The waitress got mad and told me i could just pick them out!!! I called the manager over immediately and all he said was "I'm sorry". No offer to pay for my lunch. So i told him i lost my appetite and that i was not paying for my lunch nor was my sister going to pay for hers and that we would be taking our business elsewhere and that the health department would be informed of the situation..and that I will be sure to tell all of my friends and family of my experience and service I recieved and the quality of food. Im not saying I had anything to do with it...they probably did it to themselves with continued bad service but a year later that restaurant went out of business!!! LOL i felt justified!!

This happened many years ago...My boyfriend and I were out enjoying the day and naturally we were dressed casually. We just happened to run into his brother and his girlfriend who were dressed to the nines since they were on their way to one of the better restaurants in New Orleans. They insisted that we come along even though I protested very strongly. Everyone stared down their noses at me (except the staff). I was terribly uncomfortable during the whole meal. I know it isn't the clothing that makes a person, but I respect the great old institutions of New Orleans and I, on my own, would never go to any of them dressed the way I was that day. I'm surprised they let me in.
Anyway, this very snotty woman followed me into the restroom just to tell me how low down I was for being dressed as I was. At the time, it was extremely embarrassing. Looking back, I wish I had handled myself differently. This time I would not mess up her hair and try to stick her head in the toilet!!!

My friend and I went to Wendy's for lunch one day. For some reason, one of the employees were walking around from table to table asking if everything was ok and if they could refull our drinks. She took our disposible cups and came back to our table with bright orange lipstick marks on both our cups and neither one of us had on lipstick.

When I was pregnant, I wanted to eat those crumbs from Long John SIlvers. I would pour lots of the malt vingear on them. I was eating the crumbs and looked into the basket and saw that there was a fried bug, wings and all.
