The new Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and the Hynes Convention Center are centrally located facilities right in the heart of Boston - easily accessible from the airport, Boston hotels, and major highways and roads.

No convention city in America is easier to get to - or easier to get around - than Boston. Our superior accessibility will help you capture more of your qualified attendees at your Boston-based event than any other convention city in North America. Boston is within two hours of Toronto, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Montreal, New York and Detroit. Whether your attendees are flying into Logan International Airport, driving via major interstate highways I-90, I-95 or I-93 which are just two minutes from the convention centers, or taking the train or bus from and to South Station, getting to Boston is a convenient and stress-free aspect of any attendee's experience. And with the completion of the Big Dig, Boston's major transportation and infrastructure project, the city features more convenience and ease getting anywhere your attendees want to go.

The closest subway stop for the Convention Center is the Silver Line's World Trade Center stop. Once you get off at the station just follow the signs for the Convention Center, they will lead you to a bridge, you will see the Convention center directly across from you, walk over the bridge and cross the street and you've arrived. I've included a link to the MBTA website page that has the map for the Silver Line. Currently the Silver Line MBTA buses as well as Massport's Logan Express buses are being allowed to use the Ted Williams Tunnel to the airport.

The Silver Line is your best bet. You'll want to pick it up probably along the red line and/or at South Station.

Eventhough the tunnels are shut down, the Silver Line is able to get through. Ask the driver to help you out a bit. Typically at South Station at the Silver Line stop, there is a MBTA agent there that is very helpful.

"Already, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority is doing damage control: spending thousands of dollars to bus conventioneers to Logan International Airport in an attempt to minimize what could be months of traffic snarls after last week's Big Dig tunnel ceiling collapse."

I'm not sure if the Silver line is operating through the tunnels right now, so check http://mbta.com to see the schedule. If it is operating you would want the World Trade Center stop on the silver line.
