This is an impossible situation to remain in. Ask your husband for a divorce, don't do it with vengeance or anger, just be the mature and sensible one and see if he responds the same.
Quietly check into the Egyptian law and find out what are your rights, including child custody. Also begin to arrange for alternative housing in Great Britain. Have as many pieces in place as possible so that you can make your move a quickly as possible once your able to.

It sounds like you should be able to get an annulment very easily. If you're asking about Egyptian law, I'd suggest you contact the Egyptian consulate in London.

are you liveing in egypt.
muslims can have 4 wives..as the law goes in egypt
you can ask him for a divorce and if he wants to agree to it you go and see the local cleric and he can divorce you....
but by law he should have asked you to marry another if he did not then it gives you more leverage when and if you do go see a cleric

He had to take your opinion on this. don't make him use this as his right in Islam because Islam require him to be totally even between his wives and to take your permission. Talk to him again for you children don't let them grow up without you

Where are you? If you divorce him, DON'T do it in a moslem nation. Then you will have NOTHING.
