I have previously asked this question before, but none of the answers really helped, although I was surprised & gracious by how kind and thoughtful almost every response was.
I have recently discovered that while I am sexually attracted to men, it is only visually. Actual intimate contact with one is somewhat repulsive (to my surprise). On the other hand I am not attracted to women at all, at least not visually. But I was stunned to find out my body responds to physical contact from a female.
I strongly believe that what is going on is pheromonal--that I am attracted to the visual results of testosterone (deep voice, broad shoulders), but the olfaction is a turn off. Vice versa with women.
The resulting conflict is that I haven't been with anyone who has not turned me off in one way or another. Conflict.
I am not confused about my sexuality, but I am confused about what this may be called. Has anyone ever heard of this. All info would be appreciated. Thank you.

In response to labeling. I don't need one personally, but can you imagine having to explain what I am every time some one asks. And most people call me asexual, but I don't think the accurately fits. I'm more curious if there is a word for it medically or socially.

What an interesting question!
I'm a psychotherapist, and there is a diagnosis for this, but by accepting it, you would essentially be saying that you would benefit from some professional help. According the diagnostic manual, you have "Sexual Aversion Disorder." Not exactly a statement designed to stimulate pleasant conversation and good hearted fun, unless it were at your expense.
I think you could make up a term, such as having olfactory inhibition, meaning smells turn you off.

Men smell so bad that it stops your attraction toward them, whereas women smell good but look unsexy.
I've never heard of this! You want a label for it? OK, "ipsisexual" which means non-sexual or sexless.
It is likely, perhaps probable, that experience in childhood has influenced your preferences, that you are revolted by various unpleasant memories.
My conjecture, and that is all that this is, would be that perhaps waht you really want is to be the passive partner of gay oral sex. Several orasmic experiences by a caring partner might "unlock" your sexuality.

Since you seem in some way attracted to both male and female, perhaps androgynous or bisexual fits. However, why the fascination with a name? You are a lover of people. That is a very good thing to be. Do what feels good and be a hedonist.

The conflict seems to exist in your mind. Thanks to a homophobic society that states there is only one way to express sexuality.
I would check with a sex therapist, if I were you, so that you can discover exactly what is happening. If it is pheromones, they would know. Good luck and I hope you find your answers, a healthy sexual life is vital in maintaining health, whet er or not you have a partner. Peace.

Don't worry about labeling yourself, if you're secure and comfortable with yourself, that's all that matters. But for simplicity sake you could call yourself bisexual. I don't think a real term was coined for whatyou're experiances, but I'm sure it happens to a lot of people.

I haven't really heard of that before. I would say that it sounds like it's a problem for you (in that it's a turnoff either way) so you may consider seeing a sex therapist or something.

According to the one true god, Homosexuality is a sin. Many people ask about what god does, and when I read the books of the Prophet, everything became clear.
Please refer yourself to the information I have given you to investigate.

I think its called "flippy-floppy" or "wishy-washy"! Either way the end result is confusing and non-fulfilling.
