Do you Know its a strange fact but the biggest imigrant natives
to U.S.A. are.
1) British
2) German
3) Irish
& strange as it may seem to the residents of Fla. Ariz.Cal.Hispanics only are a very tiny part of the population. As
are Afro.So it would seem extremely unlikely you yanks are about
to adopt Spanish language.

Yeah, really soon. I just moved to Fl and it's crazy how many jobs I couldn't get because I don't speak Spanish. I would love to learn but I don't think it should be primary. If I moved to Puerto Rico then I would expect to have to learn their language not to live in the United States and not get a job because I don't speak Spanish.

Unfortunately, we're headed in that direction now. Very soon.

In the south and southwest so many street signs, store signs, reading material, packaging material etc is already in spanish that it's often difficult to find the english in there.

Go to Florida for vacation, you feel like you've entered another country.

Well, the phone machines are still saying Press ONE for English. So we have some time yet.

But I do think that corporations are going to need bilingual employees in the near future. So-- go out there and get your degree in Spanish if you want a job.
