I don't think that the Braves will be shopping anytime soon this season, now that they got their help in Wickman and Baez to bolster their bullpen. However, both guys had put a dent on the Braves payroll of 90 million and it's unlikely that Scherhulotz (GM of the Braves) is going to make any deal, even though Chipper is on the DL. If they had to, there are rumors that Jeff Conine is avalible in the market, but the Braves would have to compete with the Yankees, Cards, and Reds to acquire his service, but only as a backup 1B.

The braves are NOT going to the playoffs this year---not even as the wild card.
