I just got my first one. I'm 51. I wanted it for my 50th birthday, I got it the day after my 51st. That's how much thought I put into what it should be. I went to 3 different places, looked at all their flash, and decided to draw my own. I have a string of morning glories around my ankle. Choose something you really love, and let the artwork available be your guide. Don't be afraid to come up with your own ideas. Popular ideas, if you're a girl, are flowers, angels, and butterflies.

Why do you even consider asking others answers to decide on a tatoo? If you don't know what kind of tatoo you want and haven't given it careful thought then why are you getting one?

a tattoo is something that should be personal....its going to be on your body for the rest of your life (unless you can afford to pay for laser removal)...i suggest getting something thats related to a passion of yours....if you are seriously considering getting a tattoo based on an answer you get from someone on yahoo, then maybe you should consider whether or not you really want to get the tattoo at all....
cause someone could suggest a giant cobra attacking a large rat on your back....

When I picked mine I research for about 5 years on what I wanted. To make sure i got exactly what i wanted cause you have it FOREVER. I got three purple clematis flowers with the vines connecting them. purple is my favorite color and always has been and that is my favorite flower I love it and know i will never regret it. Do s google search on tat pics. Tattoo22.com is a good one and tribal-Celtic-tattoo.com is good for tribal type ones good luck.

I wouldn't advise getting one, my dad has one and it looks horrible. His skin is saggy and you can't even tell what it is any more, plus it's faded and it looks like he has some rare skin desiese...gross...but if you do decide to get one you should get a...fairy, or your name in another language, or a fish, or maybe a snowflake, how 'bout a henna design.

If you don't know what you want, you shouldn't get anything. It is going to be there for the rest of your life so you better get something meaningful.
