If it is just a very large, single wasp going in and out of a hole in the ground and you are in the south, could be a cicada killer. Will leave you alone if you leave them alone. They paralyze cicadas (17 year locusts), get them back to the hole, lay their eggs on them and the larvae devour the cicada while it is paralyzed. Just a way of insuring that the larvae have fresh meat!

If lot sof them in a nest, wait until night,then go out and spray the nest with a wasp and hornet killer.

DO NOT try the flaming lighter thing unless you want to be on Jackass The Movie!

There are wasp killers you can get at any garden or hardware store to spray into the nest. Spray in the evening or early morning, when they are least active. They have a new product, I think it's called "Hot Shot" that is supposed to kill them on contact.

Point a spray can of something flamable down there and have a lighter handy. As you spray, light the lighter. Just burn them out.

They're really a pain...Just go to home depot and buy some wasp killer....yuck!

if you live out where you can burn, you can pour gasoline, or charcoal starter fluid in the hole and light it on fire, If not, then maybe just try some wasp sprat or turpentine if you can find it..

Call professionals to remove them. They could have a nest down there.

Pour some gas down the hole.Do not light it. The gas will be soaked up from the nest.Then they be dead.

mountain dew and dawn dish soap. add 2 teaspoons of dawn to an open can of mountain dew and place it near the bees. they cant resist the mixture drink it and die
