I say take chances !! HOWEVER , only if you can decifer between the resentments from the past and your current situation. meaning: as long as you do not throw all your ex's mistakes up in this new guys face.
Trust him completely . If you cannot or are afraid to , then it wont work and you'll have even more baggage.

Certainly..do not sit home..and Waller in pity...go out with friends, family..etc...

Start looking forward..to life and what is in front of you...not what was..or will never be...again.

Broken hearts mend..no one I know has every died from a broken heart.

Learn from the past..do not repeat the same mistakes..take your time..never give more of yourself, than your willing to lose...we all teach people how to treat us. Expect more for yourself...not less.

Good Luck :)

You don't say how old you are, you are probably young, but I would say that if you are scared to start over again, that you are probably needing some more time for yourself. Why don't you get into some volunteer work, you just might meet someone there with some interests the same as yourself. Get out with your girlfriends.
