I've only did a clean shave twice, and it itched like heck, as it was growing back.

(i'm very hairy and have to shave my legs every day for them to be smooth)

What do people do when it starts growing back? I picked up some free samples of vagisil from my gym. Is this what people use? Does it really work and would it work all day or do you have to reapply? thanks.

Oh honey I feel for you. I did that before and it was horrible while growing back. The stuff I used was actually for jock itch but I don't remember the name of it. Every drug store has it. It was in an aerosol spray and it worked for the itch. Believe me, it really did work. In the future just trim with scissors and that way it doesn't itch as long as you don't get too close.

Ok it does really itch when it grows back so i would reccomend not shaving, and instead try nair. Remember do not use soap in that area after nair as this will cause it to burn. Also if you can stand the pain the best route to go for both private areas and legs is wax. It hurts really bad the first couple of times but it last alot longer, and alot less itching.

Vagisil is for yeast infections. Do NOT use it unless you have one.
The skin down there is VERY sensitive, shaving is at best not reccomended. However, if you're going to, get some kind of a moisturizing cream, they sell shaving gels for women to help with this, keep the area very moist to avoid irritation. its going to itch, there's really not much you can do about that, just keep at it and you won't feel it anymore cause you'll get used to it. That being said, you can also go to most salons and get a professional to help you with hair removal and suggest a way that would work better.

Go to Walmart or whatever grocery store you have near by. The tools/razors to help shave in that area are usually not where all the face and leg razors are. They are usually where all the perfumes and lotions are. There is nair and all types of things. Just try a bunch of different things.

When it starts growing back, just shave it off again if it really bothers you!

And for the itching, look for some lotion or ask your doctor for some medicated lotion!

After shaving, you need to close the pores. When I used to shave the bikini area, I sprayed on my cologne. It burned a little bit, but that was better than the constant itch.

If you continue to shave every couple of days, it should eventually stop itching.

Vagisil as previously stated is not for grow itch.

Shaving is so overrated, it burns it itches, its a horrible mess! But if you just let it grow back normally it will go back the way it was. Maybe if your THAT hairy, try trimming it.

ok, vagisil is for the inside, not outside, just put cream around your vaginal area, mabe vaseline...And when you shave your private area, don't do it ALL...do the sides only...or get waxed, pick up some wax stripe from the stores and do it...don't worry, everyone has hair down there.

Vagisil is for yeast infections.

Just shave or wax. Waxing lasts longer but hurts.

Don't use vagisil for that anymore.

Get some bikini zone. It is made to help prevent the itch as the hair is growing back.
